Thierache - A region spanning the borders of northern France and Flanders, in the area of Aisne in France, and the counties of Hainault and Namur, in Flanders. The principal cities of the region are, in France, Fourmies, Guise, Vervins, and Hirson, and in Flanders the city of Chimay.
