This same year, in the months of June and July in different parts of the heavens a comet was seen. Also in this year there was a great plenty of food, so that a quarter of wheat was sold in London for 2 shillings, and a fat ox for 6 shillings 8 pence, and 6 pigeons for a penny. Nonetheless there was a great scarcity of money. Also this year Sir John of Eltham died.
