This is a discussion forum for the purpose of asking questions, discussing topics and sharing information amongst people with an interest in the Hundred Years War (1337-1453) period. It's geared mainly towards re-enactors, and we'd like especially to speak to like minded people about our experiences doing HYW as an interdisciplinary, from-the-skin-out, first-person-interpretation. Historians, re-creationists and devotees of the period are welcome to post research results (both practical and esoteric), book reviews, philosophical questions and even occasional rants about life, death, love, war, cooking, eating, dancing, and whatever else they are currently working on, reading and/or experimenting with in the HYW vein. Discussions of material culture and character development are also encouraged, and the occasional plug for sellers of goods appropriate to the period are always welcome.
